"a good song captures something real.
it can be anything. any emotion.
any moment. any image.
just as long as it's real. or not.
but that it's honest. and tangible.
that's what music is.
the expression of things in a form
we can understand on a different level."

LYRICS
Passing By
would you say that its a pretty day by the pitch the sun angles our way
but look at all the people around cant you see they're all falling down
we could be as bestfriends are gazing up into the stars
and once we have left the ground i dont see this flight comming down
it's passing us by (x 2)
you know that i would be content to see you rest your head on my chest
and i really do doubt that time has a purpose more than passing by
take a deep breath and dive to remind you that you're still alive
and don't you just wish that life had a purpose more than passing by
it's passing us by (x 4)
Don't Let Down
passing by mirrors all i see are frowns, but i just laugh them down.
tripping on a pack of smokes that i found buried in the sand.
with a wave of my hand
i can erase all the lies that have come to deprive
us of what is ours.
oh but ive dreamt you up so great.
dont let me down now.
cause ive been lost in a clouded lovely ploy.
and im only just an ignorant boy.
leaning from a weary pier,
gazing into the darkness of the water.
as the waves roll onward
in their endless sleep.
into my arms youll keep.
Passing my teachers
I always feel so cold
I try to fit their mold
Every little way
My heart seems to fade away.
I often seem so proud
Meant To Be
I was thinking of your smile
And how I wish we were together
When silver clouds moved in
And the rain sang a song
It was soft and light
I hope you will remember
Rain tasted sweet
As I sat alone
And thought about you and me
And how nothing has changed
Since I first met you
In our English class
Oh how I loved you then
And how I love you now
Made for each other
I even knew you when
You were in my dreams
Please don’t fail me truth
Cause I’ve bet my life upon love
Please don’t let me lose
Sit And I Listen
I sit and I listen
to all that do enter
While praying in silence
my mind to sleep.
I ask and I wonder
how long til it happens?
I’m asking my sickness
to none but my sadness.
Memory fills me,
therefore, I see blindly.
The task is uncertain,
and so is its meaning
Somewhere, somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
You see it in motion
as the day tomorrow.
But what we don’t notice
is that it’s really inside.
As I sing this, it pauses
to breathe in the spirit,
The treasures around us:
the world and its people.
So if there is goodness,
please pay us a visit.
The path is uncertain;
please help us to find it
Somewhere, somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
Mountain's Edge
I walk, she stays
and the light
will be over soon.
Just a voice
Of a ghost from a land
That has forgotten us
And the thought
Of you lonely now
Brings chills to my saddened spine
O dear, O dear
My thoughts are with your tears tonight.
I once held a face
In the palm of my deepest eyes.
It was beautiful
in its own tragic way
You were caught up
in a lengthy maze of choices
that were not yours entirely to make.
And just when you thought
I was leaving you
down there,
I gathered you up
wrapped you tight in my care.
And just when you thought
I was leaving you
down there,
I picked up your smile
and carried it over the river
to the mountain’s edge,
to the mountain’s edge.
