This is what you are writing for
When you don’t know what you are writing for
It is life
Spun together and thrown into the cosmic world
And all you have is time to burn.
And it does
In red pages of ancient lines
And simple stories to pass the time.
Hear the shaking pierce of lacking purpose
It radiates from this population
Stripping skies of their eternal glow.
words are only an excuse to do nothing
being my next point
in this essay on living slowly and breathing lightly.
it is only when these words are given a voice
a purpose, through song, becomes their name.
this is what you are writing for.
